Rogueblox Survival Meters Guide

Rogueblox has three survival meters to monitor: Health, Hunger, and Toxicity. Health and Hunger need regular attention, while Toxicity is connected to drinking potions. Community findings indicate that allowing Toxicity to fill completely causes death.

Survival meter overview

MeterHow it is restored or managedImportant consequence
HealthConsume food or drink Health Potions.Keep it restored to recover from lost Health.
HungerEat food. The amount restored varies by food type.Requires regular management.
ToxicityBuilds when potions are consumed and normally decreases over time.Death occurs if the meter fills completely.

Health

Health can be replenished through two known sources:

  • Health Potions
  • Food

Food therefore has a dual survival use: it can restore Health while also helping with Hunger. When choosing whether to use a potion or food, account for Toxicity before drinking, since potion use contributes to that separate meter.

Hunger

Eating restores Hunger, but community findings note that the amount restored depends on the food consumed. Not all food replenishes the same amount, so use the available food type with its Hunger recovery in mind.

Because Hunger is one of the meters players need to manage continuously, avoid treating food only as an emergency Health recovery option.

Toxicity and potion use

Toxicity rises from consuming potions. Unlike Health and Hunger, it is tied specifically to potion consumption.

A full Toxicity meter is lethal. Let Toxicity decrease before consuming additional potions when possible, rather than repeatedly drinking potions until the meter reaches its limit.

Community reports indicate that Toxicity normally depletes over time. Alchemist-related passives can alter its depletion speed and how it depletes, so potion management may differ for characters using those passives.

Practical meter management

  1. Use food to restore Hunger and, when needed, Health.
  2. Use Health Potions for Health recovery, but watch the Toxicity meter each time you drink one.
  3. Do not let Toxicity reach full; wait for it to fall when you can.
  4. If using Alchemist-related passives, account for their effect on Toxicity depletion before planning potion use.
