Rogueblox Monster Classification Guide
How monsters are classified
In Rogueblox, monsters are hostile, non-humanoid creatures found throughout the map. The Monsters listing is broader than a simple creature-type label: an enemy only needs to meet one of the following conditions to be included:
- It has a bestiary entry.
- It is a non-humanoid entity.
An enemy does not need to meet both conditions. For example, a non-humanoid enemy can qualify even if it does not have a bestiary entry, while an enemy with a bestiary entry can qualify through that entry alone.
Bosses and the Monsters listing
Bosses are not automatically excluded from the Monsters listing. A boss is included when it meets either classification condition:
| Inclusion condition | Result |
|---|---|
| Has a bestiary entry | Included in the Monsters listing |
| Is a non-humanoid entity | Included in the Monsters listing |
This means “boss” and “monster” are not separate categories for listing purposes. A boss that qualifies under either rule is treated as part of the monster classification.
