Rogueblox Combat and Movement Guide
Combat options
Community player guides describe both melee and ranged gear options in Rogueblox:
| Combat style | Reported gear |
|---|---|
| Melee | Sword and shield |
| Ranged | Magic staves and bows |
Your weapon choice determines whether you are approaching combat with a sword-and-shield setup or from range with a staff or bow. The listed attack and defensive inputs below are the community-reported baseline controls.
Movement controls
| Action | Default input |
|---|---|
| Move | W, A, S, D |
| Jump | Spacebar |
| Sprint | Double-tap a movement key |
| Crouch | Left Ctrl |
| Dash | Q |
| Slide | Sprint + Crouch |
| Super Jump | Slide + Jump |
| Aerial Dash | Slide + Dash while airborne |
Chaining mobility actions
Community control references list the following input sequences:
- Double-tap a movement key to sprint.
- While sprinting, use crouch to slide.
- Press jump during a slide for a super jump.
- While airborne, combine the slide input with dash for an aerial dash.
These actions use separate movement inputs, so practice the sprint-to-slide sequence first before attempting the jump and airborne dash combinations.
Combat controls
| Action | Default input |
|---|---|
| Light Attack | Left Mouse Button |
| Critical Attack | Right Mouse Button or R |
| Block | F |
| Uppercut | Left Ctrl + Left Mouse Button |
The community-reported controls distinguish light attacks from critical attacks, while block and uppercut have their own dedicated inputs. An uppercut combines crouch with the light-attack button.
